Radu Munteanu
Welcome
to my homepage! I recently got my PhD in Economics from University
of California, San Diego where I currently teach as a
lecturer in the Department
of Economics. Prior to joining UCSD I received a master degree (MA) in
Economics from University of
Iowa and another MA (with Distinction) in Economics from Central European University,
Budapest, Hungary (the first year of studies took place at Essex University, UK).
My
main research interests are in the area of technology licensing, quality of
inventions and welfare analysis of academic research. My empirical research
focuses primarily on the biotech sector but I also work on a theoretical
matching model that can be employed in a more general setting of technology
diffusion.
