Final Exam. The schedule for the final exam is 3-6pm Thursday 19 March, in Warren Lecture Hall room 2001. Please note that coverage is about half on the new material since the second midterm and half overall, this can be mixed into single problems. Also, the practice final is not an indication of which parts are to be covered or not, it is a set of practice questions to help you get practice.

See TA pages for extra office hours this week. Tim will be be in Econ 304 from 9:30 to 11 Tues morning.

Returning Homeworks. If you are not there to pick up homeworks the TA's have them. They are always returned in the class immediately following the class in which they are turned in.

Second Midterm:  Please note all grading issues need to be cleared up by 10 March (a week after I hand them back). Also note that in terms of partial credit - the graders cannot change the way in which partial credit will be given after grading the exam, this would not be fair to the rest of the class. You need to see the TA that graded the question under consideration: Meng graded question 1, 2, 3 and Xun graded 4,5.

Exam Rules: No regrading of exams written in pencil. No cheat sheets etc. You may use a simple calculator, but not cellphone calculators etc and other devices capable of messaging. You do not need blue books, all answers will be written on the exam itself which I provide.

Handing in Homework: You can hand in the homework AFTER class in a box provided for this purpose. Please do not come and hand it in to me whilst I am lecturing. Alternatively, you can go to the economics undergrad office in Sequoyah 245. If you turn it in to this office before 3.30pm then it will be passed on to us for grading. Please do not try and stuff problem sets under doors, they will not be graded.

Late Policy on handing in work: No work is accepted late. This is for fairness to students who get their work in on time, it enables me to put solutions up on the web in a timely manner and enables TA’s to get the work back quickly. Since all problem sets are available on line there is no problem in obtaining the problem set in time.

Note on Downloading Files: All problem sets and solutions (incl. Practice exams) are available as Word .DOC and pdf files. You can download these from any machine that has a web browser, including those in the library. However you need to have the pdf reader program to read or print the file pdf files (these are available free from Adobe). This program is on the economics computer room computers, but is not on the machines in the library  (when I last checked).
