Setting Up Your Web Page
Telnet to weber
Type this command: htmlsetup
The above command creates a directory called public_html
in your weber account. Put all of your web pages
and images in this directory.
Name your home page file index.html.
Your URL will then be:
http://econ.ucsd.edu/~yourlogin
- To create a home page, use your favorite web page editor.
If you aren't sure what to do, click on one of the sample home
pages below, then select File > Edit Page in your Netscape browser.
Edit the page and save it onto a local disk. Then FTP the file
into your weber account. Please come to the library and ask Kiefer
if you have any questions.
